• Northwest GA Regional Commission in conference room @ 1 Jackson Hill Drive in Rome, GA

Volunteer of the Year Luncheon

• 2017 Date/Time to be announced

• Yearly luncheon to honor and recognize outstanding community volunteers

• Nominations come from member agency representatives

• Nominees are reviewed by Downtown Rome business owners who select the winning volunteer (based upon nomination form info and reference letters - names are not provided in an effort to ensure fairness)​

 

 

Holiday Appreciation 'Party'

• Yearly special event (party, we might say) at which we serve hors d'oeuvres and light refreshments

• Allows agency staff and volunteers to socialize and strengthen bonds outside the 'work' setting

• Held to honor and thank volunteers for their service
